The Council of Industry Partners is a strategic new initiative from the Mid-Atlantic Patient Safety Center (MPSC), designed to bring together industry innovators, device manufacturers, and healthcare suppliers with hospital leaders to co-develop real solutions that advance patient safety across Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region.
The Council brings solution providers to the table to address patient safety challenges and collaboratively shape the future of health care. Through this work, MPSC connects industry partners, patients, families, and the healthcare workforce—leveraging collective expertise, advancing safety science, fostering system-wide learning, and empowering organizations to achieve lasting outcomes.
Progress in patient safety depends on a broader ecosystem of collaboration, where innovations are co-developed, best practices are shared, and care is consistently improved.
